The Forest next to Deák Square will be the venue for the Amargant Theater Concert three times in the afternoon. The special program as part of the Forest Mystery program series introduces visitors to the mysterious world of the forest surrounding the lake. The music bonanza starts on the stage from 18:00, where you can first hear the party mix of DJ Belo, then the acoustic-electronic performance of Levente Fegyverneki leads the mood to DJ Voksán Virág's evening set. During the day on Friday the field belongs to the children again, this time the team of Virgonckodók brings two escape rooms to the "green" on Dr. Moll Károly tér. It is worth registering in advance, because the appointments fill up quickly. Children looking for a creative activity will not be left without a program either, as the Magic Sounds playhouse at the Tourinform office will keep them busy. The game is accompanied by music, from 18:00 the Cséplő-Poór Jazzy Duo entertains the audience with cheerful tunes. At the same time, the evening program begins on the stage, a Caribbean dance hall called Salsa Días Brillantes begins. After the dance, we can listen to a show by Boglárka Laczák and Szabolcs Bognár interspersed with musical and operetta melodies. In the evening, we can welcome the weekend with a wild concert by Odett, a singer from Zala. On Saturday a bubble arcade and a wooden toy park await children who want to play already in the early afternoon. This time, there is also a stage show for the little ones, as the Harisnáy Pipik invite them on a magical journey around the world. Afterwards, Jenő Őri & Iván Roman entertain the audience with violin and piano recitals. If it's a wine program, then MASZK's musical theater about wine fits into the evening stylistically. The main event of the evening will be the concert of the Muzsikás Együttes. On Sunday we can rest during the day for the past three days, and then in the evening we can say goodbye to the holiday weekend at the M.É.Z. lead: + 3 Spring is here once more, and finally we can enjoy ourselves in the fresh air again. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for bicycle tours, however, cycling is a sport that you can pursuit in any season.

tartalom: + 1 What’s more, cycling is more than a sport! While cycling, you have the possibility to discover the world on two wheels while you are relaxing. Not to mention that cycling is also environmentally friendly and healthy as well! The bicycle road around Lake Balaton has been completed for 15 years. Cyclist have already cycled around the Lake more than once, but they are also ready for new challenges. Cycling became so popular in the past years that the bicycle roads are as crowded as the highways, especially in the summer season. The Hungarian Cyclist Association have been working relentlessly on the BB365 project and its results are already used by every biker. What is BB365 exactly? It is an abbreviation which stands for Balaton Bike 365, meaning that by Lake Balaton it is possible to enjoy bicycle services all year around. Thanks to the project, sign boards were placed out which signal 800 kilometres of bicycle roads in total, four times the length of the complete Lake Balaton bicycle round. 45 different thematic routes were also created, which are also noted by boards. For example, the routes including the Festetics Heritage are red coloured. Circle tours always have letter combinations. The three-digit numbers always mean local routes, while two-digit numbers mean national roads. One-digit roads usually connect to international roads. Be cautious though: the new signs don’t always signal separate bicycle roads since they can also point to appointed car roads or dirt roads too. The BB365 webpage and application are perfect for seeing these roads as well. The BB365 application was awarded ‘The Application of the Year’ award by the Hungarian Marketing Association last year. Cycling fans are able to plan their routes around Lake Balaton in 7 languages. Due to the project, three bicycle centres were also created in Keszthely, in Balatonfüred and in Balatonföldvár. In these centres, bicycles can be rented, or guided tour can be also booked. Fixing services will be also available in the future. For what the BB365 application is good for? Just like in Google, you will be able to make a cycling tour plan, however, in the BB365 app you will only see the routes that you can also cycle on. You will immediately see the quality of the road (bicycle road, car road, dirt road) and the altitudes as well. You are also able to filter your search based on recommended routes if you for example travel with your family or you would like to cycle with a mountain bike. You are also able to rate the routes and recommend it to others. With the pictograms, you can see the sights of the region like castles, viewpoints, museums or churches. Based on the short details given of the sights, you can easily plan where to stop during your trip. You can also search accommodations, restaurants, service points or spots to take free water. But then there’s the kind that creeps into every corner of our lives, even our downtime. When you're on holiday but can’t stop worrying whether your holiday is perfect enough. When stress, exhaustion, lack of motivation or scatterbrained feelings take over—maybe it's time to admit something needs to change. Because believe it or not, this isn’t “just how adulthood works.” Could this be burnout? Burnout is increasingly becoming a widespread issue—especially among people in their 40s. Careers, families, responsibilities… everything keeps piling up, and somehow there’s less and less energy left for you. When nothing seems to recharge you anymore, when you feel like you’re failing in all your roles and just trying to get through the day, it might be time to ask for help. That’s where a health coach comes in. So what is a health coach? Think of a health coach like a personal trainer—but not just for your body, for your whole life. They’re not doctors, and they’re not therapists. They’re professionals who help you reconnect with your balance. tartalom: + 1 Drink it! The recommended daily water intake is 2 litres for adults. This is the amount that everyone needs for ideal body function. What’s more, in Hévíz, you can also drinksulphurous medicinal water, which is recommended for many people. Drinking Hévíz medicinal water in moderation can relieve stomach aches and bile problems. You cantaste it at the public water fountains. Get in the steam! The sauna is good, many people like it. Hot steam and humid air are an important part of the bathing culture of many civilisations, be it a Roman tepidarium, a Turkish bath, a Japanese onsen or a Finnish sauna. The hot, humid air dilates pores, increases cellular metabolism, refreshes the skin, relaxes the mind and clears the respiratory system. Ice-cold delights! Water vapour is also useful and can be used if it is ice cold. On the one hand, we often cool ourselves with ice cubes, cold water spray or an ice bath after a sauna session, and on the other hand, the cryosauna, which cools the body with temperatures of around minus 140 degrees Celsius, is becoming more and more popular. This freezing treatment takes only two minutes but it is extremely effective. It regenerates cells, alleviates reduced vascular problems, speeds up metabolism and even helps you lose weight. It is no coincidence that competitive athletes used it first for rapid recovery. Inhale water vapour! Having mentioned breathing in hot steam, we should also highlight the other beneficial effects of inhaled vapour. Inhaling water vapour can provide the body with manyvaluable substances, which can be rapidly absorbed. You can think of oxygen therapy, for example, or the mist floating above the lake, which contains gaseous substances that, when inhaled, enhance the healing effect. Hydromassage for everyone! Probably no one has ever been to a spa without standing/ sitting under a water massage jet. The massaging effect of water has been used for a long time, so it's almostubiquitous in spas, wellness and adventure baths. However, water jet massage is not just a simple muscle-relaxing spa experience; it is also a significant treatment. It is also used in Hévíz carried out in a 34-37 degree Celsius water bath under the name of Tangentor therapy. Depending on the strength of the water jet, it can even move deeper muscle layers, and it causes an increase in blood flow to the treated area and has a good effect on lymphatic circulation. It is one of the most popular procedures for post-operative care.   Electricity conducted into water? Why not? It may sound strange, as most people learn at an early age that it is not advisable to dry our hair in the bathtub. However, there are occasions when conducting electricity into the water - much less than 220 V, of course - can be useful. One of these occasions is called the galvanic bath, which is mostly used to relieve arthritis and pain. This treatment should only be used under medical supervision and on a therapeutic basis. Typically, the hands and feet are placed in hot water while a low current is passed through the body thanks to the conductivity of the water.   Splash! Of course, the best way to enjoy the water is to take a bath in it. From refreshing showers and adventure pools to the thermal water of Lake Hévíz, there's hardly a place where you can't spend precious minutes and hours in hot water. It is relaxing, stress relieving and beneficial for the whole body. Doing sports in water is the most joint-friendly form of exercise, so you can now join aqua fitness and aqua spinning classes in many places. Swimming exercises the whole body, but just floating in the silky hot water of Lake Hévíz can also do a lot to keep you fit.

lead: + 3 A new development has been completed in Hévíz with the support of the BeReady programme: shade sails have been installed at the newly created event square on Kölcsey Street, further improving the comfort and usability of public spaces in the spa town.

tartalom: + 1 The aim of the installation is to provide shaded, cooler areas even in places where greenery cannot be planted — such as event venues. The shade sails now offer protection from the sun along the final uncovered section of the pedestrian route between Kölcsey Street and the Thermal Lake, ensuring a more pleasant walking experience. The project was funded entirely by a non-repayable grant from the European Union, as part of the Interreg Central Europe programme and in partnership with international municipalities. The BeReady initiative focuses on mitigating the urban heat island effect caused by asphalt and concrete surfaces in Central European towns and cities.   Several other infrastructure and recreational development projects are also underway in Hévíz. Among them is the construction of a bypass road near Nemesbük, which will facilitate the movement of agricultural vehicles from surrounding areas, helping to ease traffic congestion within the town. The city administration remains committed to implementing projects that improve quality of life and make Hévíz an even more sustainable and attractive destination for both residents and visitors.

tartalom: For the first time, the Folk Folk Festival will take place in Hévíz on 23-24 September. The two-day festival will open on Friday at 3.15 with a parade of children's dancers. The afternoon continues with performances by children of different ages in Rákóczi Street and then at 18.30 the ÜSTökös Kompania will take over the stage to entertain the audience with a fun, dance, music, and interactive programs. The first Friday evening will end with a folk-dance gala in two parts, featuring the Gyenes Folk Dance Ensemble and Nagyváthy Folk Dance Ensemble. In the break, while the dancers will have a rest, the audience will have the chance to see a short folk fashion show on stage showcasing the dancers; costumes and the different folk costumes. The program continues on Saturday with performances by the adult dancers. Mátyás Fodor will open the festival with a program of "Pergő Lépések". In addition to the dance performances, the evening will also feature a choir and of course there will be a group dance as well, in which the audience can actively join. The dancers will be accompanied live by the Re-Folk Orchestra on both days, and in Rákóczi Street a handicraft fair will be also set up.

Recently, the European Spas Association has awarded Hévíz the Innovative Spa & Health Resort Destination award. The ceremony took place in Vichy, France at the end of May. The aim of the European Innovation Award is to recognise and introduce new ideas, instruments and processes of spa towns worldwide. Every year, a winning town per category can be awarded. In Hungarian spa town Hévíz you can enjoy next to the international cuisine not only food mentioned above but they also serve the typical sausages, minced meat, game, freshwater fish and various soups. You can complete all above by a delicious wine from the local Egregy vineyard, if you are interested. In this respect, you should definitely not miss 5th year of Hévíz wine festival which is held from August 17th till August 21st and is the biggest local festival.   Hungarian cuisine is based not only on calorically reach food where pork and very often lamb meat is used, but you can also enjoy freshwater fish as a carp, a barbell or a zander. From vegetable are the most used tomatoes, peppers and potato. Typical spice is melted sweet or hot pepper, which gives food characteristics and enticing colour. The soured cream is also used often. The typical pastry is white bread. The food is made on the fat. The Hungary is the home of mangalica pigs whose fat is harmless. From soups you can try in Hévíz tyúkhúsleves (chicken soup with noodles), halaszle (fish soup), jókai bableves (bean soup) or gulyás (soup from meat and pepper) or the real speciality – hideg meggyleves, cold soup from sour cherries. From starters we should mention spicy sausage, Hungarian salami, libamájpástétom - alias pasty from goose liver or. From the main courses you can enjoy pörkölt, pot roast with pepper, which is in contrast from gulyás thickened with flour, tokány represents piquant mix of meat and vegetable, baked pancake filled with meat hortobágyi palacsinta, erdélyi rakott káposzta – acid cabbage baked with meat, rice and cream, or fatányéros – knife board with different types of grilled meat. From local dessert it is worth to taste somlói galuska, glass cup filled with pieces of ban and whipped cream, gundel palacsinta alias pancake filled with nuts and poured with chocolate or krémes, phyllo pastry filled with vanilla cream. The tradition of wine in Egregy Wine-making on Egregy, which is part of the Hungarian small spa town Héviz, has a tradition which goes back to the Roman era when viticulture was introduced to the region. The most remarkable varieties of the region are Italian Riesling, a Pinot Gris and Müller Thurgau, but you can find there also Green veltliner) and different types of Muscat. Egregy hill was classified a high-quality wine region in 1998 and the wines produced here were classified as characteristic wines of the Balaton region. In March 2007 the Wine of the town of Hévíz was chosen in a contest for the first time and this event is also held every year. The wine cellars of local vineyards can be reached easily by moto train or by foot.

tartalom: + 1 It  was developed by Senior Dr. Károly Moll at the beginning of the 1950s. Weight bath is an underwater treatment, which takes place in a special pool, with specialist support. The aim of the treatment is to displace the vertebras, thus stretching the back bone and enabling the restoring of the original, healthy condition of the vertebral disks. Weight bath is completely painless, as the upthrust of the water relaxes the body and the weights stretch the spine in a very gentle way. Weights used during weight bath can be suspended in 3 ways: on one point (only on the neck) on two points (with armpit support) on three points (with neck and armpit support) The weights are placed on the waist and/or on the ankles, by usually applying weights of 2-3-5 kg. At one time a maximum of 20 kg weights are allowed. tartalom: + 1 According to Professor Massayuki if the body is symmetric the blood and energy circulation of the body are accurate and the conjunctive tissues of the muscles are loose. If the symmetry and balance are thrown out of balance, locomotor diseases and internal organ problems may develop. Healing and health preventive power of Yumeiho lies in the balancing of the energies circulating in the meridians, furthermore in the loosening up of the muscles and in the restoring of the symmetry. Yumeiho mixes three Far-Eastern massage techniques: massage, acupressure and manual therapy. During the massage the muscles are loosened up, which improve the blood and lymph circulation and metabolism. Stimulation of the acupressure points releases the energy blockages. Joints are put back to their original position by using manual therapy. Yumeiho massage duration is about 45 to 60 minutes. The professional masseur massages the entire body. The treatment is carried out on a rubber mat, while patient is wearing his/her clothes. There are hundred basic techniques, which are complemented by two to three hundred manual therapy elements, depending on the illness. Yumeiho massage is used for the treatment of wide scope of illnesses. It is extremely beneficial for joint, rheumatic and muscle problems, spine diseases, locomotor diseases, trapped nerves, back-, shoulder-, waist-, leg- and certain headaches, furthermore to prevent and correct incorrect posture. Yumeiho massage was originally used to improve and boost the physical and mental performance of the Shaolin fighters. The impact of relaxing massage can be further boosted and/or complemented with the application of various essential oils or their combination. The techniques of relaxing massage, similarly to most massage types use the techniques of Swedish massage. But it is a more refined technique with the aim of relaxing the patient and to dissolve the stress fields within the body. Hypnotic and calmative smoothing strokes relax the patient. It is recommended for overdriven, very exhausted patients subject to lot of stress. Please view the below essential oil combinations, which help to boost the relaxing impact of the relaxing massage, thus achieving a more intense relaxation experience. Bergamot, cedar, jasmine, mandarin, rose: this combination is mainly dominated by citrus oils. It has a calming effect and helps relaxation. Peppermint, lemon, eucalyptus, grapefruit, cubeb: A pleasantly refreshing mixture. The exotic smell of cubeb, the camphoric scent of eucalyptus and the menthol scent of peppermint are a perfect match for the citrus oil fragrance. Peppermint, pine, cajuput: a decongestant mixture. Very useful for catarrhal, respiratory passage inflammations; it improves the penetrability of the respiratory passages and mitigates the symptoms of cold. Eucalyptus, grapefruit: great for the sense of well-being, energising impact. Peppermint, ginger, rosemary: anti-inflammatory, alleviator of pain, improves blood circulation, muscle relaxant mixture. Lemon, Ylang: harmonising mixture, the strong flower scent of Ylang-Ylang (or Ylang-Ylang) creates perfect harmony with the fresh lemon scent. After a relaxing massage it is recommended to take a hot bath. If you do so before going to bed use a few drops of lavender oil ensuring a good night sleep.
