Interreg Danube Programme – BeREADY project
Beneficiary: Hévíz City Municipality Objective: adaptation to climate change and reduction of the urban heat island effect (UHI) by creating “urban climate resilience” model areas.
Relevance of Hévíz:
• Hévíz as a climate-resilient health resort: examination of the ecosystem services of urban green spaces, temperature conditions and water surfaces.
• Pilot: “urban acupuncture” type interventions (shading, water retention, green infrastructure).
• Community awareness-raising and knowledge sharing between local government decision-makers and the population.
Green Destinations connection: “Environmental state and challenges”, “Monitoring”, “Sustainable tourism development goals”.

Interreg Europe – DIGITALIZE project
Beneficiary: Hévíz City Government Objective: applying digitalization in the tourism and cultural development of small and medium-sized towns, in a sustainable way.
Relevance of Hévíz:
• Development of digital tourism services and experience chains (e.g. AR-based synagogue presentation, smart info points).
• Digitalization of sustainable tourism management tools (data collection, visitor flow analysis).
• Connection to the Green Destinations digital indicator system.

Development and implementation of an energy management system in the City of Hévíz - DIMOP PLUSZ

Beneficiary: Hévíz City Municipality The aim of the project is to create the necessary infrastructure for prevention, protection against stormwater damage in the area affected by the project, and to solve stormwater drainage in the affected areas.
