About Us Balaton Ballooning is the first and only internationally run professional hot air balloon company in Hungary. We have more than 35 years of experience in passenger carriage. We have been operating for 18 years in Hungary and also have interests in Italian and Dubai balloon companies. Where – When – And for how much? Your balloon takes off daily from Heviz, weather permitting, from the 29st of March till 03st of November. (see location map). The flights start late afternoon landing at sunset. The duration of the whole trip is 3-4 hours including the approx. one hour ballon flight, hotel transfers from Hévíz, flight certificate and a glass of local champagne.
