Lake Hévíz Thermal Bath awaits those seeking healing and relaxation even during the winter months. With opening hours adjusted to the early sunset, wellness and therapeutic services, as well as a peaceful and intimate atmosphere, bathing in Hévíz remains a truly unique experience throughout the cold season

Important Information about the Winter Season of the Hévíz Thermal Lake Bath

From 3 November 2025, the Hévíz Thermal Lake Bath will operate with changes applicable to the winter season. During this period, bathing is only possible outdoors, and the Lake Bath can only be accessed through the Ady Street entrance, via the Festetics Bathhouse.

Opening hours

During the winter season, the opening hours are adjusted to the shorter daylight:

  • 26 October 2025 – 8 February 2026: 8:30 – 16:30 (last bathing time: 16:00)

  • 9 February – 29 March 2026: 9:00 – 17:30 (last bathing time: 17:00)

The Indoor Bath and Therapy Centre’s swimming pool is available with extended hours from 3 November:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 – 18:00

  • Weekends: 8:00 – 18:00

Available services

During the winter season, guests can continue to enjoy:

  • the services of the Festetics Bathhouse and Therapy Department

  • the wellness area (included in the ticket price)

  • the offerings of the Vitál Bar and the Medio Buffet

  • the indoor relaxation areas and the lakeshore section around the Festetics Bathhouse

For guests with reduced mobility, the Festetics Bathhouse provides accessible changing rooms and a sitting pool equipped with a patient lift at the Vitál Bar terrace, ensuring comfortable bathing opportunities.

Ticket and pass information

A new feature from 3 November: 2-hour admission tickets, which also include wellness use. Tickets are available on-site and in the Lake Bath’s online webshop.

  • Full-price ticket: 3,000 HUF

  • Discounted ticket (students, seniors, groups): 2,500 HUF

  • Child ticket (6–14 years): 1,500 HUF

Additionally, 10-hour and 20-hour passes are available, which also include wellness use.

Important changes

  • The main entrance from Schulhof Promenade and the central bathhouse will remain closed.

  • A part of the lake’s northern water surface will be closed due to preparatory technical works.

  • A capacity limit will be in effect, therefore guests are advised to check availability in advance at the Lake Bath information desk.

  • The additional minutes/hours previously provided with 3-hour, 10-hour and 20-hour tickets will no longer be available.
