Music is for everyone
A series of music programs will start on May 30 and will last until September. Twice a week, free concerts are organized at Festetics Square and at the Music Pavilion on Dr. Schulhof Vilmos Promenade. Local and Hévíz-related artists will perform, creating a pleasant atmosphere for lovers of music and bathing.
Sports events and leisure programs
The city's surroundings offer excellent opportunities for sports and leisure activities. It will be no different on May 26, as the 6th Intersport Hévíz Running Festival will be held. Adults and children alike can test their endurance and compare their performance. Good mood and muscle fever are guaranteed!
If you don't want to compete, you can comfortably bike or hike on the designated routes in the area. You can discover it on your own or on guided tours. The Balaton brinakörút is also easily accessible from Hévíz.
Even for the little ones
On June 1, the garden of the Egregyi Museum will be filled with children's excitement on the occasion of the city's Children's Day. A castle in the air, a treasure map, face painting, handicrafts, bird ringing, a drawing competition and fairy-tale films are waiting for the little ones and the slightly older ones all afternoon.
Wine for beer or beer for wine...?
No one has to choose peace of mind, as you can find festivals related to both drinks this summer on the pedestrian street. July 11-14. beer will be served first. Czíki, Czech or HB, by the glass or by the pint, filtered or unfiltered - however you like it, you're sure to find a drink to your taste. There will be no shortage of musical programs either, there are concerts every day. DR BRS, Tamás Sipos F., Viktor Király, Kefir, Csilla Auth will play for us, but we will also have DJ SOMX, Fáni Németh and his band, as well as the Zalaapát Harmonika Orchestra.
For those who prefer wine, we recommend the wine and gastro festival in August, when for 5 days (August 16-20) wine plays the main role. In addition to the craft stalls, children's programs will keep the little ones busy. Here on stage will be Dér Heni, the Beatles Memorial Orchestra, Unisex, Andra Szulák, Szalonna and his Band, the Bácska Tambura Orchestra, the Happy Dixieland Band, and István Bősárkányi Társulat's adaptation of The King.
Indian Summer
August doesn't have to be the end of the summer, as we still have programs for September. The aforementioned musical evenings last until the end of the snow. In the middle of the month a moonlight bathing program is waiting for those who want to bathe at night. At the end of September, the now traditional Waterlily Folkfest folk dance and folk music program is also organized.
