tartalom: + 1 Interactive concert by Re-Folk Band Show By Bernadett Gregor and Attila Csengeri Easter Fair Happy Peacetimes of Hévíz Beer Promenade Wine & Gastro Promenade    THE FIRST FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR  We await our guests in mid-March with quality programs. From 12 March to 14 March, you will find many interesting programs that let’s us start spring and the season in the city. On 12 March don’t miss the concert of the band Re-Folk. On Sunday, Bernadett Gregor and Attila Csengeri will welcome the audience with their show “Jöjj kedvesem...” (“Come my Love…”). The concerts will take place in the Ball Room of the City Hall, attendance is free of charge, however, pre-registration is necessary. On 14 March we will celebrate our national holiday with a torchlight procession.   EASTER WILL BE FULL OF SURPRISES  We hope April will bring us a typical nice spring weather for our Easter Fair. From 15 April to 18 April the pedestrian street will be full of life and programs. In addition to the stands with wine and crafts, there will be interesting things for all age groups. Bouncy castles, folk games, egg hunts, activities for the little ones, mystical light shows and concerts for the grown-ups. The Zsödi Duó and Lia Siklódi Szabó and the party band HelloKids will ensure the good atmosphere.    AN OLD FAVOURITE WILL COME BACK  We have been waiting for this for a long time and this year we can finally host our traditional program “The Happy Peacetimes of Hévíz” from 30 April to 1 May. This year our dear program will be held for the tenth time. Of course our traditional parade will take place with vintage cars and classic carriages. Photo booths, games, delicious food and drinks stands will be all around the streets filled with Dixie music to ensure the atmosphere. The real highlight, however, will be the concert by the Mystery Gang. As part of the celebrations on May 1st, we will commemorate the proclamation of Hévíz as a city.    EVEN JULY WILL NOT BE BORING  For beer lovers, we recommend our event in July: from 14 July to 17 July, the pedestrian zone will be filled with famous and handcrafted beers. In addition to the drink, of course, the individual snacks that go with the respective beer should not be missing. After some drinks and some food, head towards the stage on Rákóczi Street, where concerts will heat up the atmosphere. More details about the program will be revealed soon, keep an eye out.    AUGUST IS ALL ABOUT WINE  For the summer heat, our crowd favourite Wine and Gastro Promenade will return too. For the program we await lovers of wine and everyone who would like to feel how a big festival feels like in Hévíz. In addition to tasting the most delicious wines, there will be many concerts and programs for children as well. Details to come soon!   We've only mentioned the biggest names and festivals, but of course there will be other concerts and parties throughout the year. So, before you set off, it's worth checking our Facebook page and website for the most up-to-date information. The variety of bicycles you can rent at the Tourinform Office of Hévíz has been adjusted accordingly so everyone can enjoy cycling.   SIX MODERN E-BIKES CAN BE RENTED FOR 2 OR 24 HOURS Let it be the hills around Hévíz or the inclines within the city - with these new e-bikes it all becomes easy. Even longer bike tours can be made with the bikes, since the batteries have a range of 50-60 kilometers.   Prices:   Normal Trekking Bicycles: 2 hours: 1,500 HUF 24 hours: 3,000 HUF   E-bikes: 2 hours: 3,000 HUF 24 hours: 5,500 HUF     3 ROUTE SUGGESTIONS:   1. HÉVÍZ-KESZTHELY-GYENESDIÁS-VONYARCVASHEGY-BALATONGYÖRÖK From the Tourinform Office you can reach Keszthely after a 6-kilometer bike path between beautiful swamp cypresses, along Lake Hévíz. In Keszthely, you can get to the shores of Lake Balaton via the pedestrian zone and then along the residential area of ​​the city. The bike path runs along the bank, past the new apartment buildings. A short detour can be made at Libás Beach or at the small, atmospheric Lido Beach in Gyenesdiás, then you can continue towards Vonyarcvashegy. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the tour. A bike charging station is also located in the Tourinform Office in Vonyarcvashegy. The beautiful view of Balatongyörök was already known to the Romans, as evidenced by the finds found in the area. Distance: return trip: 36 km   2. RETURN BY SHIP, ENJOY THE LAKE! If you do not want to return from Balatongyörök by bicycles, you can continue your journey with a ship on Lake Balaton. In the summer, a ship to Keszthely leaves at 5.25 p.m. From Keszthely you can easily return to Hévíz by bike.     3. GUIDED BIKE TOUR WITH A LOCAL TOUR GUIDE In the city center of Hévíz, the e-bike is an ideal means of transport, and the whole city can be explored in just about 2 hours. During the bike tour, your guide will present the most famous buildings in the city: the lake, the Hévíz stream, Roman ruins and among other things the church from the so called Árpádian period. Registration is required in the Hévíz Tourinform Office  in order to participate.

During the 4-day weekend, we welcome our dear guests with music programs, playful egg hunts, playhouses and children's performances. On Friday afternoon, Márton Palkovics and the Chanson Brass tune us up for Easter with pleasant hits on the Rákóczi street stage. On Saturday morning, organized by the Hévíz Entrepreneurs' Association, a children's performance titled The Legend of the Red Egg will be available in the Mayor's Hall. Supporter tickets for the performance will be available for purchase on the spot. The traditional Easter program of the Hévíz Entrepreneurs' Association, the Egg Hunt, is also waiting for the little ones at several points in the city. You will find the locations of the egg hunt on the HelloHévíz website, Hévíz merchants and entrepreneurs will help you with the game and find small Easter gifts. The program takes place on Saturday between 12:00 and 17:00. On Saturday afternoon, the main role will again be played by music on the Rákóczi Street stage. First, the Vagabond Ensemble entertains the audience, then an Easter show entitled Gyöngyözön creates a festive atmosphere in the pedestrian street.At 19:30 in the evening, Holy Saturday Mass begins in the Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, which ends with a procession. In addition to the craft stalls, children's programs will keep the little ones busy. Here on stage will be Dér Heni, the Beatles Memorial Orchestra, Unisex, Andra Szulák, Szalonna and his Band, the Bácska Tambura Orchestra, the Happy Dixieland Band, and István Bősárkányi Társulat's adaptation of The King.
