Miklós Teleki, the founder of the Majestic Sounds concert series has already been the guest musician of Hévíz for eight years. He happily agreed to join our charity concert event which is naturally for a good cause: the offerings made at the concert will be entirely donated to the children living in the Subcarpathean area of Ukraine. László Kiss the dean and vicar of Hévíz was also happy to present the Holy Spirit Church as location, and he will also help to deliver the donations to Ukraine through the Catholic Charity Service.
The programme of the special event will be:
- Bach: Prelude and fugue in B minor
- Pachelbel: Chaconne in F minor
- Mozart: Fantasia in F minor
- Franck: Prelude, Fugue & Variation in B minor
- Liszt: Prelude and Fugue on B-A-C-H
The concert will start at 7 pm on 19 March in the Holy Spirit Church in Hévíz. The attendance is free of charge, but don't forget to support the good cause!
The seasonal organ concerts will start in the city from 20 April and they will last until mid-October. As per usual, the concerts of Miklós will be held every Wednesday from 8 pm. As in the previous years, may guests will also perform with Miklós like the fan favourite bass opera singer, Kolos Kováts. This year some new guests will be also introduced to the crowd of Hévíz like Ingrid Kertesi (sopran opera singer), Szilárd Hajas (flutist), or Tamás Lozsányi (organist). This year the local Musica Antiqua Band will also join Miklós for the first time!
