The 7th SPA-CE, the first and only spa and wellness trade show for Central Europe, will be held from 1 to 3 October 2015 in Hévíz, Hungary. Around 30 spa and wellness providers from Central Europe will meet with more than 40 cherry-picked hosted buyers to find new business connections, learn and enjoy the warm Hungarian hospitality.
As one of the oldest European countries, Hungary combines rich cultural experience with top-notch medical, health and wellness offer. Hévíz with the fresh colours of nature and the relaxing atmosphere is an ideal place for this boutique B2B event dedicated to spa and wellness tourism. Iztok Altbauer, Director of Slovenian Spa Association and SPA-CE organizer looks forward to another great collaboration with the Hungarian team: “After the 5th edition was held in Sárvár, SPA-CE is going international again. We are really honestly happy that the world famous lake resort Hévíz in Hungary agreed to be the host of this year’s meeting of the spa industry of Central Europe.”
Orsolya Horváth, Managing director at Hévízi Turisztikai Nonprofit Kft and official host of this year’s trade show welcomes exhibitors and buyers to Hévíz: “»Nomen est Omen«, your name is your value, as the Romans thought. The name of the town means hot water, which in itself shows what is going on here. The world’s largest natural thermal lake that is suitable for swimming can be found here. A better reason is not needed to hold the event SPA-CE. Every participant can expect that we, as hosts, will make every effort to serve hosted buyers and exhibitors on the highest level.”
Over the years SPA-CE has become the European junction for all professionals working in the spa and wellness tourism. Iztok Altbauer explains: “Just looking around us, the Central European region has the strongest focus on the spa industry in a concentrated area so great opportunities are waiting for us. We are happy to say SPA-CE is strengthening its position on this market every year. Since its beginnings, the show has hosted more than 160 providers of spa and wellness services and hosted buyers on average more than 15 countries from Europe. Also the number of B2B meetings is really impressive as it has surpassed 3.300. Another important fact is also that we are able to attract more and more new potential partners. Just last year, when the Slovenian traditional Spa town Radenci was the host of the SPA-CE workshop, there were more than 90 % of newcomers.”
The boutique trade-show will again offer a one-of-a-kind experience. Next to business where the focus will be on pre-scheduled meetings between providers and hosted buyers, SPA-CE will offer a great educational programme and fam trip for hosted buyers.
