Relaxing massage is a gentle, stress-releasing massage form. During relaxing massage patients often feel sleepy and it is very common that they also fall asleep. The impact of relaxing massage can be further boosted and/or complemented with the application of various essential oils or their combination.
The techniques of relaxing massage, similarly to most massage types use the techniques of Swedish massage. But it is a more refined technique with the aim of relaxing the patient and to dissolve the stress fields within the body. Hypnotic and calmative smoothing strokes relax the patient. It is recommended for overdriven, very exhausted patients subject to lot of stress.
