Szabolcs Burucs, graphic artist, musician (Keszthely, 1986)
In 2018, he graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts as a graphic artist. During his university years, the most exciting thing for him was monochrome imaging. He was captivated by white and black, as well as the tones hiding in between. He produced his works of that time by delving into the graphic techniques most suitable for this. "Starting in 2004, the experience of creation lived in music definitely captivated me," the artist admits. With his bands, he became an active, well-known and recognized part of the Budapest underground music world, a momentum that only ended when he moved home to Keszthely in 2018. After a couple of years of searching, he rediscovered the power of music - through the performance of his own composition written for the guitar. Our current exhibition gives us a glimpse into his artistic development.
