The guesthouse closest to the thermal lake was built in the camping area. 10 air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms await guests. The double rooms have a double bed, TV, refrigerator, shower cabin and toilet. The studio apartments are also equipped with a kitchenette. The campsite has its own cozy restaurant with a constantly changing menu and traditional Hungarian and international food and drink specialities. Taste homemade syrups and local quality wines, choose freshly prepared fish or even roast beef! Our guests arriving by motorhome or caravan can choose from numbered plots in the campsite, with electricity and partly drinking water and sewer connections, which are separated from each other by a green hedge. The plots are shaded by huge trees, providing natural air conditioning in the summer. In the water blocks tiled up to the ceiling, the shower cubicles are equipped with a dressing room and a door, but single-person washrooms are also available. There is also a separate room for the disabled in both water blocks. Our campsite, as the first spa campsite of the Castrum chain, has been welcoming those who want to heal and relax since 1989. Why choose Hévíz? The Hévíz spa lake is the largest natural, biologically active warm water lake in the world. Its water surface is 4.5 ha. The water temperature is 34-36 °C in summer, but does not drop below 24-26 °C in winter. Thanks to the abundant water yield of the spring, the water mass of the lake is completely replaced in a few days. Its deepest point is 38 m, but the average depth in the coastal areas is 2 m. Medicinal water and medicinal mud from the tens of thousands of years old Pannonian Sea, together with complex physical therapy treatments, are suitable for the treatment of almost all musculoskeletal, rheumatic and countless gynecological diseases. tartalom: + 1 Dear Inquirers! The newly opened AURORA VENDÉGHÁZ is located in the heart of Hévíz, just 200 meters away from the world famous thermal lake. The guesthouse is satisfactory for all demands and it has been finished with a modernized vintage style. Altogether it has 14 rooms, 2 suites, and a luxury apartment is located on the first floor. All rooms have different character within the vintage style, each having their own names, referring to its design. All guesthouse rooms are equipped with a smart TV (cable, satellite), WiFi, a refrigerator, a hair dryer, towels and a safe. We also have baby baths, high chairs, and extra beds ready for our guests who would like to relax together with their children. Furthermore, the guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, WiFi in the whole building, a drinking fountain each floor, and a parking lot (with limited spaces). Our reception service hours are from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm, and throughout the night from 20:00 pm to 8:00 am we offer distance service. We provide tickets for the thermal lake at a discount price, life belts and also a partnership card which can be used to take advantage of our partners’ services. We can guarantee you a massage service on demand, upon a time agreed on for a certain price. As mentioned before our parking spaces are unfortunately in a limited number (5 parking spaces). Parking is available on a first come first serve basis. The cost is HUF 3,000/day. Due to the limited number and high demand, we recommend you guarded parking place which is located (50m) facing the guest house for a fee. Restaurant Hofbräu belongs (but is physically separated, around a 100 meters away) to the guesthouse , which specializes in, but of course is not limited to Bavarian flavours, our dear guests can also enjoy the culinary specialties of Hungary and international meals as well. The restaurant offers live music every evening throughout the week. We offer intercontinental buffet breakfast between 8:00 am to 11:00 am, but if our dear guest demands our daily menu as well you are welcome anytime between 12:00 am to 21:00 pm. For any item a lá carte or beverage we guarantee a 20% off.
