1. Parking zones and parking fees

Parking fees are every day between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to pay.

ZONE I.  – SZÉCHENYI UTCA-  MAIN CAR PARK
Parking with barrier system
First hour free, every hour after the first hour 100 HUF. The parking fee is payable at the paying machines, 10 minutes allowed for exiting.

ZONE II. (RED ZONE) –PETŐFI SÁNDOR UTCA • JÓKAI UTCA
Parking fee: 400 HUF/hour, minimum parking duration 15 minutes – 100 HUF.
At Petőfi Sándor street 17 car parking places are allocated for disabled people, furthermore within the zone disabled ID card entitles the beholder to 1 hour free parking observing the rules of the Hungarian Driving Code.

ZONE III. (YELLOW ZONE) – HONVÉD UTCA • PARK UTCA • JÓZSEF ATTILA UTCA • KOSSUTH LAJOS UTCA
Parking fee: 200 HUF / hour, minimum parking duration 15 minutes – 50 HUF
Within the area bordered by Kossuth Lajos utca – Széchenyi utca – GAMESZ Restaurant (primary school, mayor’s office, post office, pharmacy, shop) parking only allowed with pre-purchased parking discs for a maximum duration of 30 minutes (grace period: 5 minutes), no parking fee is payable at the premises.
At József Attila utca within the section bordered by Honvéd utca and Rózsa köz (surgery) parking only allowed with pre-purchased parking discs for a maximum duration of 45 minutes (grace period: 5 minutes), no parking fee is payable at the premises.
Within the zone disabled ID card entitles the beholder to 1 hour free parking observing the rules of the Hungarian Driving Code.

ZONE IV. (GREEN ZONE)  –ADY ENDRE UTCA- SMALL CAR PARK
Parking fee: 100 HUF / hour, minimum parking duration 15 minutes – 25 HUF
Within the zone disabled ID card entitles the beholder to 1 hour free parking observing the rules of the Hungarian Driving Code.

Parking season tickets, parking tickets, disabled ID cards and parking discs shall be displayed in the windscreen of the car in a way that they are visible to the inspection personnel.
Upon failure to do so, violators will be charged a penalty.

Bus:
All scheduled buses arrive at the Deák tér bus station, which is located nearby the Northern Entrance of the Thermal Lake.
The size of the town does not require the operation of a local bus service, therefore the scheduled coach services stop at various areas of the town. 24/7 taxi service available next to the bus station.

Sightseeing trains – “Dottó” trains: rubber-wheeled sightseeing mini train service available from April to October, three times a day. The mini train service offers an exciting route to the tourists, introducing downtown Hévíz, major sights of the town and the Egregy wine route, popular party area of Hévíz.
